needless to say, it was an amazing weekend. Needless to say, I am in love with those kids from Cambridge. Needless to say, the Dresden Dolls put on an amazing show. You need to download the songs available and you REALLY need to watch the video for girl anachronism.
Needless to say, it’s crazy enough to listen to Cat Face Smash in Steph’s bedroom with Jeremy. Needless to say, it’s even crazier (and all the better) when sitting in R.’s studio apartment skullhead begins to play randomly. Add to that list The Hip Kids and The Undergrads. Of those bands, R. likes The Undergrads the least, which is slightly amusing.
I drove alone in Minneapolis which was exciting and spent time with all those crazy kids from college. I went to First Ave for the first time and realized that things in downtown Minneapolis are much closer together than I realized. All those damn freeways skew perspective.
It was fun driving home at night through rain and lightning while blaring my Cake CDs and shouting along. I also listened to Modest Mouse- So Much Beauty in Dirt several times. So much beauty it could make you cry.
