Yesterday I went to Monaco with a guy from Michigan who is studying at Oxford and a girl from Connecticut studying at McGill in Montreal studying abroad in Madrid. We played the “if I had a yacht” game. I met up with Jill, Sheena, Heather, and Trish and we chatted for a bit. I briskly walked the several kilometers back to the hostel (so many km! I walked through a traffic tunnel yesterday and along the road between Nice and Monaco trying to find Eze village to no avail). Last night… last night I sipped wine from a mug and watched the first two minutes of Rocky I in French before we switched to the Blue Collar Comedy Tour… “We” were three Swedish girls, two Danish guys (ARHUS!), the two Americans from above, a college drop out working at the hostel who reminds me of a scarier Bud, and a Philipino named Sean with a very refined American accent. He's probably from Maine or something. It… has been an interesting trip so far. It is raining today, so I need to decide if I want to sit in hostel or go to Eze village. Hmmm. Au revoir!
