I didn't make out with a large group of people or watch a crazy foreign film for the first time at 3 am, but it was still a good day. I also didn't have one of the lamest surprise parties ever. My next door neighbor didn't break my pinata and steal all the candy. I didn't have a blue frosted LEGO cake. I did not spend time with the Jacobsens, though I did see them filming something on the train tracks. If I knew where my camera was, I'd put up a few pictures, but alas.

Things I did do yesterday…
I turned 19. I like the odd years. 17 and 15 were memorable. Though, 18 was filled with the most stuff of any year. 17 was a year of renewal though. 19 will be a year of big changes. I started my first ever job yesterday. I work at the Brookings Register in the back, bundling, inserting, and other kinky sounding things. Derrick Chamely and Mike Gunderson work there as well. So much for avoiding random people I graduated high school with. Oh well, they're nice enough people. It's just really weird for me to have a job finally. I put it off for so long. It's a good way to start a new chapter in tophlife. Apparently, when I am 40 I will regret the nickname Topher. We'll see about that. I find it hard to believe when I have so many other things to regret. Ha.

Heather and Bridget called me. College friends are keen. Well, so are old friends. Friends in general are keen.

My mom purchased a spiderman cake for my birthday. It was supposed to be chocolate, but is instead white. Woe is me! How can I live when the cake is not dark like my soul. I wil somehow go on… There are pictures of me blowing out the cake (nine candles + two lipstick candles. They counted for five.). I'll put those up somedaaaaaaaay. The pictures are me and Kelsey. It's funny. After that Kelsey and I went to Mad Jacks and had smoothies and fries. We then took a walk through McCrory gardens as we waited for Emma to finish showering and returning from Kanansas. Soon we were off to Sioux Falls! We stopped at Citgo. There was a boy working who might hae been pretty. I couldn't tell.

In Sioux Falls we went to heaven, er, Coldstone. The ice cream there is fucking insane. I high recommend it (enjoy the heart attack and heart disease as well). After that we went to the Fryn' Pan which makes me happy. There's people there that could be “our people” except they're not and they are terrifying. Damn punk kids in the smoking section… muahah. Oh, and they were serving Princess Cotton Candy Ice Cream. Heh. Princess Ice Cream must be pretty special. Queer Mike randomly called and asked if I was at Perkins with fat girls. Nope, I was at the Pan with hot girls. tsk tsk. So close! After that we naturally went to Super Wal-Mart… heh. Maren called me, so I still love her. I'm such a nice person. If there's such a thing as love, let's do it. We eventually returned home and Emma and I watched a bit of Adult Swim and then I brought her home. Dizoom.

I worked again today. Odd. I need to write letters and do many more things. I think I might need to eat too. Maybe. My tummy feels funny. Oh, and my cousin won high school. Damn smart bastards.
