This comic was meant to be a humorous, texless comic about my first 'date' with Steph with the punchline being that the reader knows Alex and Steph have been going out, but not we're on a date and Alex is looking sad outside.
I figured “haha funny” but not so apparently. People seem more offended by this than by other comics. (As a side note, these few comics have caused some stir, but it seems different now. Not to mention the comics where I've killed people…)
The sad thing is that I wasn't even trying to be offensive. CPA v1.0 was very personal sometimes, and I've tried to avoid that. It just makes me sad since my intent was purely honorable. It's been a joyful/angsty week. Steph and I had our first “date.” Not really real, considering you know, how her and Alex are still together, and that one other thing.. On Tuesday, 24 hours after our first date, Steph and I got married in the Alps*. I'll post pictures or something. I think I'm going to go be productive now.
