But Skr*ller is.

I am in Minneapolis right now courtesy a Greyhound bus. I’m glad to have finally been able to pseudo-share an experience like that with Maren. Oddly enough, the trip did not make me hate fat people! And I didn’t makeout with anyone in the back of the bus however.

In the station in Duluth, a zoned out looking kid got my attention… “Hey, do you like the punk rock and the emo music?” He gave me a CD of Amazing Transparent Man (atm) that he’d seen the night before. I was terribly confused. He ended up sitting in front of me on the bus. We only talked a little, about Naked Lunch, opiates, how he was making fun of me for looking like an emo kid, etc. He’s apparently a big Saves the Day fan. He disappeared long before we made it to the Cities, and I hope he didn’t just wander off into the woods, though it’s entirely possible. His name may or may not have been Ryan Anderson.

Ahh yes, finally we arrived in Minneapolis. I was greeted by Bryan holding a sign that said “DOOM.” I figured we were hitting it off when we cuddled in the backseat on the way home. His home is quite nice. Maybe I’ll find my way to living in Minneapolis this summer… We’ll see. We ended up walking through a park and sitting on a bench and being all amazing and romantic like. He bought me dinner at a fantastic place called Eat Street. He’s plain amazing. Oh, and while we were eating, this acoustic guitar doom guy played WISH YOU WERE HERE. I couldn’t really eat or say anything besides “wow” for a few minutes.

We eventually found our way back to homeplace to spoon and watch Donnie Darko. We traded boyfriend applications and conducted an interview. I failed miserably on his, but he passed with flying colors. Now we’re a hothothot item! I think. I hope. Doom. So amazingly wonderful is this and he. Today I must take copious amounts of pictures and make an attempt to be less stupid.
