Once upon a time, a boy met another boy all on his own accord. The two came to like each other very quickly and soon fell in love. They lived happily ever after, the end.

Once upon a time, a boy had a sick feeling in his stomach. He figured he could write it away, taking all of the sadness out and replacing it with meaning. He found that once he stopped worrying and expecting, things just sort of fell into place. The lulls of life do not always last long. Sometimes, all hope must be lost before happiness can be fulfilled. This is not the end.

Human sexuality is a barrier, an obstacle. It is a narrow definition that forces people into assumed roles, or causes people to force themselves in limits. Love, when it is true and meaningful is not something that can be defined limited or explained. This is why the outmoded concept of sexuality must be destroyed. This is the beginning.

In the beginning, there was love…

From love came hopes, dreams, belief, and renewal. From love also came sadness, hate, and despair. The differences between fear and love are only marginal. Perspective reveals the deep, rolling shallowness of human emotion. This is the truth.

The truth is a paradox.

Why do people still insist on love when it brings so much hurt into the world? It is so easy to fall in love and even easier to have love that is not returned. This has been the case for thousands of years as the Greeks and Egyptians will tell us. This has been the case for hundreds of years as Shakespeare has told us. Why do we still bother? Romeo is dead. Juliet is dead. Think of how many people died for the simple sake of the mere beauty of Helen of Troy. It all seems so frivolous.

These are my thoughts on the matter.
