Well, week numero uno is completed. Things are going pretty well. All my professors are insane and my reading comprehension skills are at zero, but besides that it's neat.
Well, actually insane professors are neat. I like 'em that way. Interpersonal Communication ex-Army Nurse guy is a lot like Walder and that's neat.
Uhh.. so, when you're assigned reading (well, when the syllabus says to read.. weirdass college), are you supposed to do the book exercises? Nothing was said, just… the syllabus has pages listed. College is weird. And I'm most worred about Intro to College Learning which is ridiculous.
That textbook should be burned. “Time management is managing time!”
This is from an e-mail my RA sent:
“p.s. a little birdie told me that someone puked on the bathroom floor? GROSS!! Next time (whoever you are bathroom puker) come and get me and I will give you the supplies to clean it up. Don't make others clean up your mess.”
That sums up my dorm floor.
Oh, Mike Sandwich and I watched Taxi Driver. That movie sure has a… message. Hehe. Mike and Maria are hardcore. Especially Mike cause we went to Barnes and Noble and then to Target and it was neato. I bought Illusions which I'm sure many of you will be happy to hear. I also bought a magazine with 15 genius in swimsuits (Dali is a hotty!) and I also finally found a copy of Get Your War On. Tessa, you're gonna kick my ass. Hehe.
Scary Ty-jock guy person from my floor is in this room. He's apparently “hungry.”
Oh, and apparently homesickness is waking up and having thoughts of having a dream. On today's menu was “Absence of Maren.” I'll keep ya updated.
Ooh, I went to the library today and got some stuff by William Burroughs. Naked Lunch is listed as “missing” which is probably fitting. Mike has some Kerouac and Vonnegut to read. He's got no current online thingy so I'll just expose his life for him. Brooahaha.
If anyone needs bottled water, popcorn, pop tarts, ramen, or easy mac, I'm your hookup. Yay. Lotsa food, but little eating of it now. I need to figure out how the cafeteria works on weekends.
