It's getting so that I'm offended by the stereotypical portrayance of Frankenstein's monster. And the referral to him as Frankenstein. He was an intellegent wretch alienated by society! Not some mindless oaf. Grr.

Watching the movie “Quest for Fire” was bad enough, but seeing it mentioned in a SNL sketch involving the aforementioned pseudo-frankenstein was worse. The sketch was called “Succintly Speaking” and had a host, frankenstein, tarzan, and tonto. The gag was the host said things like “fire?” and then they replied “fire bad,” “fire good kemosabe,” “raaaaaaaaaaar… fiiiiiiiiire baaaaad!” At the end the host said the cavement from “Quest for Fire” would be on next weeks program which sent the monster into a rampage.

If I knew I had to converse with them I'd go on a rampage too. Such a horrible movie.
