Wow, a fortune cookie that came true! I got this on Saturday night, and the next day I found myself in Aberdeen, land of juicy, wholesome, goodness. It started by meeting Steph and Tessa at Wal-Mart. Yay, I hadn't seen Steph for a week and she had an anti-stylish new haircut that was stylin'– I mean… Agh. After some fun in the local mall, we were off to the land of juicy Kolbness. Kolb, sadly, was not home. We ended up meeting up with him at Blockbuster.

“HAVE YOU SEEN DELIVERANCE?!”

Hehe. Ahh.. Stuff. At some point we gained a Jeremy and stuff and things loading of the gear and mall food court and off to Red Rooster land.

Wow. THE Red Rooster. The place I'd only seen the front of once and seen the rest in dreams. It was so surreal being in there because when we arrived, no one else was there yet and.. warg. Pretty. I walked all over it slowly taking pictures and absorbing it. It was more like my second dream than I'd expected. Seeing people was so cool. I saw THE Dan and the star of Quadman, Bruce. Fun times.

One highlight was being outside of the Rooster and seeing a crowd of semi-familiar, extremely cool looking, faces walking towards Steph and I.
“Hey, aren't you the famous boy?” -Mandy
Or something like that… It was awesome. Ashton, Mullet Man, Christina, Mandy.. all loverly people. Naturally, for much of my visit I was in mute agoraphobic mode hiding from people. It all worked out as the night went on because I was slowly able to talk to some people. The show was pretty and stuff. My second time seeing the Dead and it was all beautiful and neat and fluff adjective stuff. Things were kind of tense due to CD recording, but it was still really neat. The other bands were good too. Something Suite was instrumental stuff. Seeing their drummer was half the experience. Blithe played. Snicker. Faulkton's only local band who I determined that I know the guitarist of from Boy's State. He wasn't at the show… They're an.. interesting, yes that works, interesting band. The other band was Texas Jihad, who I'd seen before. They replaced their drummer with Lweslie, a great improvement. Heh.. TU MADRE!

I suck at writing these things. oh well.

Hmm.. By the end of the night I'd gotten to know Mandy the most. Mandy is my newest special friend! Ooh, ooh, at the show I also got to meet Becca and Alyssa. That was really cool. It's fun to know people. I see where Steph's coming from. Wow i'm dizzy.

Hmm.. post-show we went to the Millstone to eat. Coffee is nummy. Jeremy and Kolb are insane. For the sake of what's to come, I now post this:
In the name of GWAR, in the name of love
In the name of the blood dripping out of the sun
I call out your God, till before me he stands
But don't send me Jesus, he's only a man
Meat Sandwich!!!
I have come as a feral thing, clutching at your bloated underbelly
Let the agony, of the is to be
Be the shrieks, the warnings of the death screams
Pummeling the wretched, crushing the defiler
Pummeling the wretched-aye!
Slay them all let them come, let them come, let them come
They've come for
Meat Sandwich (crucify)
I have come as a feral thing, snapping at your bloated underbelly
To crucify, shrieks of the crucified
Let the agony, of the is to be
Be the shrieks, the warning of the death screams
Pummeling the wretched (you know who)
Crushing the defiler (you know who you are)
Pummeling the wretched-aye! (you know who)
Slay them all let them come, let them come, let them come
They come for
Meat Sandwich!

Heh.. Kolb showed us the music video to that. It happened to stick.. and it's going to remain sticking for awhile. MEAT… SANDWICH!!!! Ha!

Wow, one of Jeremy's voices is stuck in my head and singing all the songs on my playlist. And I feel like I'm sitting in some sort of 5th dimensional angle. I'm going loopy!

Jeremy. If I had to choose one person that I know that I considered close to being self-actualized, it would be him. He just comes off that way to me.. I don't know He is neat. I am but an ant, looking up at him and pop culture references of that nature.

Post-millstone it was off to Kolb's house. Kolb. Juicy Kolb. Heh.. *cough* That was lots of fun. Very strange night, in the sense that it was Aberdeen and not Brookings and yeah.

I got to see Kung Pao, enter the fist. That was downright scary!

This has been another random blathery entry brought to you by Topher! I'm in a good mood. I like people. And that's that. (Heeeey, Mandynator… you're neat. At some point i'm stealing putt-putt and david hasselhoff to put in my basement. it's going to be fun)
