I am currently in the lobby of Sir Toby's Hostel in Prague (that's Praha to the locals). I am in the Czech Republic and I do not really even know what language they speak here. haha. no means yes and dicky means thank you. nay means know if you get into a compromising czechylslovakian (er) situation.
Never assure someone that people “rarely ever” lose their baggage on direct flights (oops Mike!). Heh… Today I walked around a lot trying to find the damn whimsy (I knew something had caused it to leave; so fucking sorry). I eventually found my way across Charle's Bridge to Prague Castle. I purchased me mum and me Maren their gifts on that bridge. I need to go buy some other creepy gifts.
Sunday was amazing in that we made every mode of transportation (bus, train, plane, bus, metro, tram). It sucked because Mike had no baggage (he simply does not have the issues like the rest of us). Luckily tonight we returned to the airport (12 koruny/crowns [less than one dollar] much cheaper than it would be to travel to an airport anywhere else [at least 24 dollars in london. ungh) and Mike's lack of baggage was corrected. I need to find some more whimsy; on my own. I want to do some independant explording. I saw a lot of rocks today. They did not rock.
Hmmm. Why must everything be so dangerous for girls, allegedly. Last night Mike and I played chess to the tunes of Propaghandi. Today Belle and Sebastian are fighting over the dull roar of the hostel lobby.
I always want to run to people with an American accent and ask where they are from. It is semi-likely here; for the first time people are conversing, albeit a little. Show me the whimsy!
The image of the cathedral spires in the castle walls at dusk will stick with me for awhile, as well as the view over the terraces of Prague at night. I did not have my camera sadly (I also neglected to bring any film with me for my real camera; oops).
Nine minutes and counting–I should go update my livejournal. ha. My life is silly.
Love from Prague!
